1. Who we are

This website is operated by Dan Varvara, trading as Growth Life Power ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Dan Varvara trading as Growth Life Power is the controller of personal information processed through this website.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at hello@growthlifepower.com or by post to the address above.

2. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you use this site, we may collect:

  • Enquiry and contact details — if you email us, including via the links on our Contact, Privacy, Terms, Cookie, membership, or event pages (which open your own email application), we receive your email address, any name you provide, and the content of your message.
  • Technical and usage information — our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically logs standard technical information for security and performance purposes, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages requested.
  • Cookie-notice preference — a small flag stored in your browser's local storage to remember that you've seen our cookie notice. See our Cookie Policy for details.
  • Payment information — if you purchase a digital product, membership, or event ticket and pay online, payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide customer support;
  • provide, maintain, and secure this website;
  • fulfil orders for digital products, memberships, or event tickets, including processing payment;
  • meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Lawful bases for processing

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

  • Contract — where processing is necessary to provide a product, membership, or event ticket you have requested.
  • Legitimate interests — for responding to enquiries, and for the security and proper operation of this website.
  • Legal obligation — where we need to keep records for tax or accounting purposes.
  • Consent — where you choose to contact us by email or otherwise voluntarily provide information.

5. Where your information comes from

We collect information directly from you (for example, when you email us) and automatically through your browser's interaction with our hosting infrastructure (for example, standard server logs).

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following service providers ("processors"), who help us run this website and our services:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security.
  • Google Fonts — delivery of the typefaces used on this site. Loading a page may cause your browser to request font files directly from Google.
  • Unsplash — some images on this site are hosted by, and loaded directly from, Unsplash.
  • Stripe — payment processing for digital products, memberships, and event tickets, where applicable.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

7. International transfers

Some of the service providers listed above may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we expect appropriate safeguards (such as the UK's data protection adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) to be in place, as offered by those providers.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and order correspondence for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry or order, and afterwards for a reasonable period to meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations. Technical logs held by our hosting provider are retained in line with their standard retention periods.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
  • ask us to restrict, or object to, certain processing;
  • ask for your information to be provided to you, or another organisation, in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@growthlifepower.com.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first at hello@growthlifepower.com so we can try to resolve it. We aim to respond to privacy-related enquiries within 5 working days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

11. Cookies

This site uses a small amount of browser local storage to remember that you've dismissed our cookie notice. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our services change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
